HOFSTRA MEN’S BASKETBALL FUNDRAISER

Matthew “Dezy” DiStefano was a beloved coach and director here at Academy Volleyball, who sadly lost his battle with cancer in January 2020. In his darkest hour, Coach Dezy chose to lead. He inspired us all by reminding us that every day is a great day - a day We Get To do things. While going through his treatments, he still rarely missed practices - or what he called “gym therapy”. Thats why we honor his legacy to this day by wearing the DezyStrong brand on the second day of our tournaments. We encourage you to learn more about Coach Dezy here.

We are especially pleased to partner with the DezyStrong Foundation to plan this special night out for all Academy Volleyball families, while raising money for a great cause. Please join us THURSDAY JANUARY 4, 2024 at 7pm at the Mack Sports Complex on Hofstra’s campus for a fun night supporting the Hofstra University Men’s Basketball team. The game will also be televised on the MSG Network!

Tickets are only $21. You can purchase your tickets using the form below, then pick them up on game day at the “will call” window in the Box Office of the Mack Sports Complex.
